Materials and Care

To minimise waste from the disposal of unwanted clothes, Good Threads is made from materials sourced from thrift and secondhand stores, with additional materials collected from textile collection drives. Using 100% salvaged fabrics means each garment is good in its own way. As such, any incidental marks or variations in tone and texture should be enjoyed as part of its character, and not considered as defects.

We recommend washing the garment once before wear. All parts of Good Threads – including the plastic hardware – are machine washable, just choose the gentle cycle and use cold water. Do not use bleach. Dry flat, and iron on low heat.

Shipping and Delivery

Good things take (a little) time. You can expect your order to arrive within 6-8 working days.

Yes you can - all orders come with a tracking number that will be sent to your email once processing is completed.

Our shipping partner may reach out to you to see if you are agreeable to leaving the parcel outside your door. Otherwise, delivery will be reattempted up to 2 times more. Should all 3 delivery attempts be unsuccessful, we’ll reach out to you on what’s next.

If you need to change your delivery details after checkout and payment, get in touch with us at hello@goodthreadsbymandai.sg. We will try our best to accommodate the requested changes. However, if the order has already been picked up by our shipping partner for delivery, we will be unable to make any changes.

Good Threads is only available online and not at any physical retail outlets. Self-collection is not available but rest assured that we’ll get your order to you as quickly as possible.

Exchanges / Returns / Damages

As every Good Threads piece is unique and one-of-a-kind, exchanges are not permitted.

Good Threads aims to change conceptions of what “waste” is by turning unwanted clothes into functional, fashionable performance wear for the urban jungle. Every Good Threads item is handcrafted from 100% salvaged fabrics – as a result, any incidental material wear or imperfections are to be enjoyed as part of the item’s character and should not be considered as defects. As such, we only accept returns for goods that are defective beyond repair, to be determined on a case-by-case basis, based on our damage policy (see below).

All Good Threads pieces are covered by our 21-day damage policy. In the spirit of Good Threads, we offer a goodwill repair service, instead of a refund, in the case of damaged/defective goods, within 21 days of receiving the garment. This means we will gladly take back the affected piece – unwashed, with tags intact – repair it, and send it back to you so you can continue to enjoy it. Not to worry, we’ll also cover the shipping cost to and from your doorstep in case of defects. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, the item cannot be repaired, a full refund will be provided.
Because each piece is handcrafted from salvaged materials, wear-and-tear, discolouration and/or imperfections characteristic of vintage/secondhand clothes will not be covered by our damage policy. Acceptable causes for damages include: torn seams, broken/missing hardware, and/or any other severe defects that compromise the wearability of the clothes. Only items with tags intact will be accepted for repair; if you are unsure if your product qualifies as defective, get in contact with us at hello@goodthreadsbymandai.sg.
